Bias Tape- I Thought Those Were Pajamas!
Remember when I said “new year, new goodies” and then I said something about making bias tape? Well I did! Err, I am! I got buckwild with my fabric selecting yesterday. I managed to narrow down my spree to only the fabric that was going to make f-ing adorable bias tape though. Wanna peek? YES- here they are

Mmmhmmm. I spent my lunch break slicing my strips, and tomorrow I will iron! Get ready for ridiculous amounts of cuteness. I still haven’t decided whether to sell it by the yard or in packs. It’s definitely cuter in little packs. We’ll see. Some other exciting news is that I sold my first Mini Fix Kit today! I’ve got to make up some manly looking versions of those kits. Something more gray and vintage-pharmacy looking.
It feels really nice to get crafty again. I’ve basically spent the past four months not being crafty, but working in a crafty studio, and yes, it was quite sad. I spent many hours sitting in traffic, in the dark, listening to cheerful music, trying to remind myself that it would get better. sigh. And it did! All those hours I spent inventorying delicious crafty goodies, all the construction dust and moving and re-moving boxes of craft porn are faaaar behind me. I don’t have to do doe eyes at other crafters happily working at their stations. Being part of a new business is hard work! Blood (sliced my elbow on the microwave door). Sweat (moving boxes from one office to another, and back again . . . sometimes while wearing heels). Tears (you try working in an office with four other women). And now we finally get to play! My brain has settled down. No more traffic. Nice. Life is good.
