Inkjet Printable SILK! Yes, please!
Sometimes little drops of beautiful information fall into your life that change things for you. Like, “Hey why don’t you sell your adorable aprons” or “Sew leather with tissue paper so it doesn’t pucker”. How about, “There’s this fantastic printable fabric that comes in denim and silk”! Uh huh. Fireworks went off inside my head. Thank you Lori from Hip Line Media and Swap-O-Rama-Rama . She showed me a fantastic Obama patch she’d added to a canteen cover and the fabric was really lovely. Soo much softer than any ink jet printer fabric I’d ever touched. You can also buy some of the delicious stuff on her website (along with loads of cool instructional sewing dvds!).
One of the coolest things about these is the variety of fabrics that they come in. So fantastic. I cannot wait to test some of it out. Just look at the varieties here. I promise I’ll post photos of my inspired projects.
