A Tearful Goodbye
After six craft-ful and exciting months at the UCC it’s finally time to say goodbye. I’ve had an incredible lot of fun making stuff and getting to be around some really wonderful, creative ladies. Now, however, it’s time for me to be home. Time for me to focus my energy on Polly Danger. A change at home has made it possible for Eric and me to turn our living studio into a crafting studio, which is really, really fantastic. I’m going to get to spend more time with Grandma, more time with my doggy-cakes, but mostly, more time making adorable stuff!
The Urban Craft Center will never leave me entirely. I have loads and loads of really, really hilarious memories and I will still be spending some of my free time there. I may even teach classes there still. We’ll see. I’m going to miss my really awesome customers, and miss people coming in to share their crafts. I’m mostly going to miss crafting with Rhea and Karen. Sigh.
I think I’ll have to follow this post up with a really cheerful one, because this is just a downer!
