Danger Music- La Femme a Barbe
Usually when I like music I listen to it. I tend not to write about it, especially here, because this is a crafty blog. But sometimes craft and music, or craft and writing, or craft and architecture, etc. overlap. Eric and I just got the new Emily Loizeau album (it’s not even in the itunes store yet!!!!!) and I’m totally insanely in love with it. Especially one song. La Femme a Barbe, which, sadly I cannot find anywhere to share with you. Of course. Well, if you don’t mind the long intro or the fact that you can’t hear the words too clearly, here’s a link to a live performance.
It’s about the bearded lady at the carnival. It’s just f-ing adorable and quirky and fun. I think I’m going to listen to it on loop tomorrow just so I can maybe stop being obsessed.
Grr- since I can’t find a satisfactory video or audio of the song I’m substituting a comparably adorable, very Polly Danger music video of hers from a different album.
p.s. Her website is even broken! So much mystery!
