Two Dollar Tutorials!

I know I’ve been kinda absent lately and I certainly apologize, but I’ve been on fire! Lots to do! I’m working on a couple of wholesale orders- yay! Plus I’ve been putting together some tutorials for the notions shop. I’m calling them $2 Tutorials. So many people ask me what bias tape is for that I decided to put together a learn-as-you-sew set of cheap, quick tutorials and patterns.

The first $2 Tutorial is a reversible bib! This one is vinylized on both sides, and you can either add the vinyl or not. Either way you have a super cute baby bib for your little munchkin or someone else’s! Plus I got to use some fabric that I love and have been hoarding.

I’ll probably post that this weekend in the notions shop. I’ve also got a ton of ideas either in action, or on my list. Next tutorial- SOAP TOWELS! What are soap towels you ask? Well, I’m sure I’m not the only one who LOVES them some fancy soap bars, but hates the wet gunk that builds up under them. Soap towels are little ovals (or rectangles or squares) of toweling, edged in cute bias tape- an adorable, smart way to keep soap ick from collecting. You just make a set, and like towels, you use them for a few days and then throw them in the laundry. The pattern will come with three or four shapes so that you can customize to your soap dish!

And now I’m off to shop downtown- yum!
