Crafty Crush- Part 1

My first post- PAPER PASTRIES. YUMMMMMM. It happened at the HBOC show- a booth so cute I wanted to vomit bunnies. Cake stands- check. Stripes- check. Delightful hand-lettering- check. But there was a boy manning the booth, so I wasn’t sure who this mystery stuff was from. Turns out that fun girl in the red dress- the one with the camera- the one with a sassy sense of humor- was Margaret from Paper Pastries! And guess what- I found her goodies in my favorites! And guess what else- she posted about ME! I think she made my booth look vomit-bunnies-cute!! Grab yourself a bucket and some bunny feed and check out the post HERE.

I’m putting together a VIDEO POST about the show, but in the meantime please take a moment to revel in a portion of total punk-cuteness!

I’m such a sucker for this lettering. You can see more gorgeous lettering on her blog!

I sure did. Margaret also carries an extensive line of these for all the most awesome cities- like San Francisco!

Just Cute. Jars are cute. Candy is cute. These cards are therefore cuter.

Oh yes, the idea behind the crafty crush is this- Every time I add a someone to my favorites list I get this wistful question in the back of my mind- Do they even know I exist? It’s like being in 7th grade again. I mean, there are a lot of crafters out there. A lot of cute stuff. And sometimes its’ so cute that I think- If my crafty stuff and their crafty stuff made babies what would it look like?

Eric and I ran into Ivy from Delightful Trinkets at the show and she gave me the AWESOME idea of posting about it. Because in fact, a lot of times if I think someone else’s stuff is knock-out cute they might think my stuff is too! And that’s like a golden moment, when you discover at a show or through a convo or (!) purchase that your crafty crush is crushin’ on you too!!

Maybe one day I can post about Crafty Crush Babies- Well little Timmy it’s like when one crafter and another crafter crush on each other very much . . .
