PDF Gift Certificates Are Here! PLUS Bazaar Bizarre Photos!!

Business first- For friends and lovers of Polly Danger who didn’t get to buy those PD presents, have no fear! I’ve just posted PDF gift certificates in both of my Etsy shops- Polly Danger and Polly Danger Notions. They come in $25, $35, $50, and $75 amounts and they are all combineable.

I’ll be emailing the PDFs out daily until 9 am pacific time on December 24th.

Okay, now the fun bits! Look who finally found her camera cable! So now I’ve got photos of my very busy Baz Biz booth (I love alliteration!). Without further delay-

I know. There are a million little bits to look at. I got kind of carried away with stuff-ness. I just couldn’t bear to leave anything behind. Variety is the spice of life, right?

Here’s a little closeup of the fore-mentioned pocket scissors-

See if you can find them hidden amongst all that STUFF! I’m a total clutter bug at heart.

Moving!

I know- this is the craziest time of the year to try and move, but Eric and I are the craziest people I know, so there you go. The time has come to make some big changes and one of those changes is not living where I work! We’re relocating our living quarters, but I’m keeping my office right where it is. Hopefully that means closing up shop every day at 5pm and actually spending my evenings relaxing rather than work-laxing (work-laxing is a term that basically means I never actually stop working even when I’m relaxing).

One of the exciting things about our move is that my hunny bunny Eric of LRhB Industries will be working from our new place, which means I get to take over his half of the old office!! Of course I’ll miss working side by side, but it will probably be easier to concentrate on work ^=^.

Okay, back to Mini Wallet production! Next blog post will be a breakdown of all the places you can buy Polly Danger goodies in person this Christmas!

*but what’s a blog post without a photo?! Here’s a look at the re-vamped interior of the Mini Fix Kit!

Crafty Crush- Part 1

My first post- PAPER PASTRIES. YUMMMMMM. It happened at the HBOC show- a booth so cute I wanted to vomit bunnies. Cake stands- check. Stripes- check. Delightful hand-lettering- check. But there was a boy manning the booth, so I wasn’t sure who this mystery stuff was from. Turns out that fun girl in the red dress- the one with the camera- the one with a sassy sense of humor- was Margaret from Paper Pastries! And guess what- I found her goodies in my favorites! And guess what else- she posted about ME! I think she made my booth look vomit-bunnies-cute!! Grab yourself a bucket and some bunny feed and check out the post HERE.

I’m putting together a VIDEO POST about the show, but in the meantime please take a moment to revel in a portion of total punk-cuteness!

I’m such a sucker for this lettering. You can see more gorgeous lettering on her blog!

I sure did. Margaret also carries an extensive line of these for all the most awesome cities- like San Francisco!

Just Cute. Jars are cute. Candy is cute. These cards are therefore cuter.

Oh yes, the idea behind the crafty crush is this- Every time I add a someone to my favorites list I get this wistful question in the back of my mind- Do they even know I exist? It’s like being in 7th grade again. I mean, there are a lot of crafters out there. A lot of cute stuff. And sometimes its’ so cute that I think- If my crafty stuff and their crafty stuff made babies what would it look like?

Eric and I ran into Ivy from Delightful Trinkets at the show and she gave me the AWESOME idea of posting about it. Because in fact, a lot of times if I think someone else’s stuff is knock-out cute they might think my stuff is too! And that’s like a golden moment, when you discover at a show or through a convo or (!) purchase that your crafty crush is crushin’ on you too!!

Maybe one day I can post about Crafty Crush Babies- Well little Timmy it’s like when one crafter and another crafter crush on each other very much . . .

Holiday Goodies Preview

I’ve been futzing around quite a bit in the studio trying to come up with perfectly adorable, pre-packaged holiday goodies and I thought I’d share a silent snapshot of a few! Silent, because I’m not saying what they are. Just a little eye-candy!

Another Productively Lazy Day in Crafty Land

Although it was hot as all get-out today I managed to post some new goodies, fine tune an exclusive kit (I’ll let you in on that one a little later), have a healthy lunch with Daddy-O, pet a neighbor-kitty, stuff my face with processed foods and I still managed to have time for a Doris Day-fest. Tonight it was That Touch of Mink- one of my favorites. All in all a perfectly productive and lazy day. Not many people can pull off that kind of contradictory action!

I tell you, this crafty life is rough. One of the most adverse side effects is cuteness. Go ahead and witness the absurd cuteness I’ve just added to my shop and tell me I need a doctor.

CO-TuxJungle-1

That little lovely is the Tuxedo Jungle Coupon Organizer, made from some AWESOME vintage fabric that I’ve been hoarding for about a month now. So scrumptious. You can find it, and a couple of other adorable organizers HERE.

And then I posted this adorable wallet, already claimed, complete with pen slot and wrist strap. Mm Mm Mmm. Don’t worry, I’ll make more.

Okay then friends, until next time. I’m working on having another lazy day tomorrow, complete with ice cream this time, so expect really good crafty stuff to follow- that seems to be my M.O.
